Cutting & Grinding
Our seals’ high level of precision is not least ensured by our sophisticated cutting and grinding processes. We have various cutting and grinding systems up to fully automatic cells for processing large-scale production items. Precision grinding means that we are able to offer extremely high levels of accuracy in all other relevant parameters in addition to excellent cutting precision.
Cutting
- Cutting thickness 0.5 mm to 1000 mm, accuracy from ± 0.05 mm
- Cutting with/without release agent
- Mandrel-free cutting
- Continuous cutting for tubes with an outer Ø of up to 25 mm
- Fully automated cutting
Grinding
- Outer Ø from 10 mm to 230 mm can be ground
- Wall thickness can be ground to an accuracy of ± 0.05 mm
- Paint stripes can be applied when sanding
- Surface roughness up to Rz 2 possible
- Special grinding benches using the revolving principle
